BTU Meters (Thermal Energy Meters) are Smart Meters used to measure the thermal energy consumed. BTU meters are used in chilled / hot water systems for both commercial and Residential buildings. These meters are used to bill users on their actual energy usage. Smart EnerG+’s end to end solution starts with System Engineering, Identification of right type of BTU Meters and Automated meter reading system and Billing to support facility managers who shall generate seamlessly accurate bills based on metering data collected from the metering devices network.

Metering and Billing solutions shall include measurement devices, communication infrastructure, software systems as well as integration and commissioning services.

Having the appropriate communication infrastructure, software and devices in place sometimes is only part of the solution; may happen that the Metering and Billing system needs to be integrated with other systems in IT landscape of the customer like, for instance, the Building Management System (BMS) also in this situation the Smart EnerG+ team can play a role at the side of the customer studying and implementing the required integration interfaces.
