What is indoor mold?
Indoor mold is a type of fungus that grows in damp environments where moisture and organic materials are present. It spreads through microscopic airborne spores that settle on wet surfaces and quickly multiply.
Mold can impact both health and property. Due to their tiny size, spores can enter the lungs and cause respiratory issues. At the same time, mold damages walls, furniture, and other porous materials, leading to costly repairs.
Common causes of indoor mold include leaks, condensation, poor ventilation, and inadequate drying after water exposure.

Our Mold and Moisture Investigations
Mold growth is rarely the real problem. It is usually a symptom of a moisture imbalance within a building.
When remediation focuses only on removing visible contamination, the conditions that allowed mold to grow often remain. The result is a familiar cycle: cleaning, replacement, reopening, and then contamination returning.
The key is understanding why it happened.
Envida Environmental provides independent investigations into mold and building moisture problems in commercial buildings and specialised facilities. Our goal is to identify the real cause of contamination so long-term remediation becomes possible.
